The writing on the scroll of paper is a saying by the Dalai Lama, “If you want to be happy, practice compassion”. The illuminated manuscript is a beautiful token of our shared history. There is something about marbles that compel me to paint them. They remind me of humanity. We are all the same, yet each of us is completely unique.
