This is an introduction to stained glass. No experience is necessary. You’ll have a choice of a few different projects to make. In this class you will learn the copper foil method (Tiffany method) of making stained glass. This is a hands-on class. You will choose your glass, learn how to cut it and grind it to make sure all the pieces fit together like a puzzle. After that, you’ll burnish copper foil to the outside edges of each piece. Finally you will solder the pieces together, making them into your very own piece of art! After some cleaning and polishing, it will finally be ready to take home with you and hang it! It sounds like a lot, but everyone always takes home a piece of art they are proud of! We also offer workshops for bigger, more complicated projects.

Please wear closed toe shoes, and older clothes you won’t mind getting a little dirty, and/or bring an apron to class.
