Oil pastel has the slow-drying quality of oil paint, and the easy-to-use and friendly nature of crayons. It’s a great opportunity to get used to an oil-based medium that’s flexible and requires no solvents. For this two-hour class with oil pastel, we’ll use a variety of different strokes and colors. We’ll learn about blending and layering colors to create still life paintings.
