“Want to add 7 years to your life?” Joining an art class improves your life. Reawakening your creativity brings enrichment. If you are new to art this is a great way to be introduced. Coming together through community and creativity can do wonders for your health. In this 4 session class, students will be freeing their minds of “adult” limitations and reawakening child-like creativity via imaginative doodling, finding shapes in wrinkled paper. They will then be illustrating their favorite activity as a 7 year old using drawing pencils and colored pencils as the main medium.

At the end of the project people may share their works with the class and have a reminder of their creative self as a child. The result is to re-instill the feeling enjoyed as a child when in the “zone” of pure creativity. It serves to keep these feelings present when they continue with future art in everyday life.
