Hot glaze kiln unloaded and more

Hello Studio Members! I just unloaded the glaze kiln and it fired hotter than it was set for so everyone’s floating blue glazed turned green. Sorry, I only have so much control with these kilns. Most everything is fine but there were a few glaze runs so be careful picking them up. Also the studio is closing at 4:30pm today, Megan and Melissa are going to an art event in Allegany County. Please check the bottoms of your pieces before putting them on the glaze shelf, they need to be absolutely clean of all glaze residue on the bottom and 1/4 inch up the sides on the bottom. When you don’t check it takes even longer to load the kiln.
