” This photo was captured on September 15, 2025 near Benezette, PA. It is perhaps my all time. favorite elk photograph. This bull elk was showing off for the vows with its “wig” made up of grass and vines that is had dug up from the forest floor. Image was captured well after dusk, so camera technology was put to full use to save the image.”
